This policy explains what PackMule (operated by Stoke Strategies, LLC) collects, why, who it's shared with, and your choices. We don't sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and password (the password is stored hashed by our authentication provider).
- Billing: a Stripe customer ID, your plan and subscription status. Card numbers go directly to Stripe; we never see them.
- Card scans and photos: the images you upload or scan, crops made from them, and the card details, prices, notes, batches and appraisals you create. Location and other metadata are stripped from uploaded photos before they're stored.
- Marketplace connection: if you connect eBay, an encrypted authorization token, your eBay user identifier, and listing, inventory and order information we read to show and manage your listings.
- Usage: first-party product analytics (a random identifier stored in your browser, the pages and steps you use, and the campaign or website that first referred you). We don't store IP addresses with these events. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
- Support: anything you send us by email.
2. How we use it
To run PackMule (store your cards, identify and price them, publish listings you ask us to, produce appraisals and reports); to process payments; to keep the service secure and prevent abuse; to send service emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset, receipts, important notices); and to understand in aggregate how the product is used so we can improve it. We don't send marketing emails unless you opt in.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run PackMule, and only what they need:
- Supabase — database and account authentication (United States).
- Cloudflare (R2) — storage for images and files. Scan images and listing photos are stored at hard-to-guess but public URLs so they can appear in your marketplace listings.
- Vercel — website and application hosting, server logs.
- Anthropic — processes card images to identify cards. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this data isn't used to train their models.
- Stripe — payments and billing.
- eBay — when you connect your account and publish or manage listings.
- Mailgun — sends account-link approval emails if you link a Master Setter account.
- Master Setter — our sister card-collection product provides the card catalog and price data. If you choose to link a Master Setter account, cards you keep can be added to that collection. Today, accounts with the same email are linked automatically.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer (with this policy continuing to apply).
4. How long we keep it
Account data: while your account is open. Card images and data: while they're in your queue, appraisals or listings, and for up to 90 days after you clear them. Analytics events: up to 24 months. Server logs: per our hosting provider's retention. Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you delete your account we delete or de-identify your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
5. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit most of your data in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing support@packmuletcg.com; we'll respond within 30 days. You can disconnect eBay at any time. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, and you have the rights to know, delete and correct described above.
6. Children
PackMule is for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Security
Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; marketplace tokens are encrypted at rest; private data is kept in private storage and every account's data is separated server-side. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Changes
If we make material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
